What is RSS?
RSS stands for really simple syndication. It’s a standardized information format that allows sites like The Responsibility Project to publish a “feed” of articles, blog posts, videos, etc. This feed is automatically updated whenever new information is posted on the site.
You can grab a link to a feed (which looks similar to a regular web URL) and add it to a RSS “reader,” which reads in the feed and formats it for easy viewing. (Several popular RSS readers include Google Reader, MyYahoo!, Newsgator and Bloglines.) RSS readers are often called “aggregators” because they allow you to aggregate all of the feeds from your favorite sites into one place.
